Terms and Conditions
Lessons and tuition
- Trial lessons are offered as a one-time paid session. They require no further commitment, but tuition must be paid for the scheduled trial.
- Lupine Academy reserves the right to adjust tuition rates in response to inflation or other operational needs. Lupine Academy reserves the right to adjust tuition rates with at least 30 days' advance written notice.
Lesson Cancellation Policy
- Planned absences (vacations, holidays, or events) must be communicated to the instructor as early as possible so that a make-up lesson may be arranged, subject to instructor availability.
- All cancellations must be communicated in writing via text or email directly to the instructor. Verbal notice (phone calls or in-person) is not valid.
- Emergency cancellations require a minimum of 3 hours’ advance notice to retain lesson credit and eligibility for rescheduling.
- ONE last-minute cancellation (less than 3 hours’ notice) per student per year will be permitted without penalty.
- Additional last-minute cancellations are billable in full and may result in termination of lessons if payment is withheld.
- Students scheduled for in-person lessons at a Lupine studio may convert the lesson to a virtual session without penalty, provided the time remains unchanged.
- Consistent attendance is essential for progress. Students with frequent absences may not see expected improvement and may lose eligibility for competitions or performance opportunities at the instructor's discretion. Lupine Academy reserves the right to terminate enrollment in cases of repeated absences and missed tuition payments.
Payment Policy
- Tuition for all scheduled lessons in a given month is due in full on or before the 10th of that month.
- Refunds are not issued except under special circumstances, at the discretion of Lupine Academy. In eligible cases, tuition credit may be applied toward make-ups or carried into the following month.
- While no late fees are currently assessed, timely payment is required and expected.
- If a student arrives late, lesson time may not be extended at the instructor’s discretion. If an instructor arrives late, the instructor will make up the time owed.
All families enrolled at Lupine Academy of the Arts are held to these same policies. Compliance with these guidelines ensures fairness for instructors and students alike, and is a condition of continued enrollment.
